GC Astrophysics Grad Set to Launch Into Data Science

Ryan LeBron, a 2024 graduate of the CUNY Graduate Center’s M.S. in Astrophysics program, measured the rotation of stars using machine learning algorithms ("Using Gaussian Processes to Measure M-Dwarf Rotation Periods from Ground-Based Light Curves"). Now, he's ready to use those computational data skills - and a love for baseball - to launch into a career in data science.
