June 29, 2018 – Brooklyn, NY – On a particularly sweltering morning in Cobble Hill, I met up with one of my favorite Brits, Allan Lumutenga, for a bittersweet farewell session. I first became acquainted with the tenacious photographer ( and former financial executive in the middle of a brutal NYC winter, but anyone who has interacted with him can attest to his undeniably warm, friendly presence. We laughed our way from the manicured brownstones in the Heights (including a stop by Truman Capote’s house) to the picturesque Promenade. Ultimately, we reached Brooklyn Bridge Park and captured some postcard-worthy shots before sailing across the breezy East River, taking in the skyline of the city that has managed to win his heart. Wishing him continued adventures and success overseas!
